The Silly Bears

Oliver was taking a nap one day.  Holden was not supposed to be in there.  I walked in to the room to this.  Holden had decided to pull ALL of his clothes out of the closet and throw them in with Ollie.

Yes…we might be crazy.  We took on SIX kids at once.  But…hey, we survived.  And would do it again.  :)

Zach started playing in the Men’s softball league with the guys from church. It’s nice, because the field is right down the street from us. ;) So, after dinner on Sunday we load the boys up in the stroller and Coda rides his bike and we walk down to the baseball fields. The games are about an hour and Coda and Holden have fun playing with the other kids. It was a little cold the first game, but it will be nice in July! {I hope!}

I think it’s so funny that we all have to sit on the same side of the table during dinner because the sun is so bright coming in during the summer.  Oh, well!  I still love being able to eat with so much natural light!  Even if it is a little blinding.

yes, yes… I know!  We need to post more.  OK, OK.  I’ve already been reprimanded {ahem…Kathy!}.  So…I am going to post every day.  YES. EVERYDAY! for the rest of April.  :)  So, be sure you come back and check tomorrow!  Enjoy.

monday we went in for our 20 week ultrasound. we had decided that we were indeed going to find out if we were having a boy or girl (you know, for planning purposes and such). but we didn’t want the imaging tech to just tell us. so, we took in a notecard that said, ” boy girl ? ” and had her circle what it was and put it back in the envelope. and then we didn’t want to just read it together, we wanted it to be an entire family thing. so tonight, we had the whole family over (skype with my family) for dinner and cake. the cake, well, it was a little surprise! i totally stole this idea from a blog that i frequent (heather cole photography), it was just too good not to do. we tried to come up with our own creative idea, but couldn’t. so, i’ll totally admit it, we STOLE this idea! we supplied our friend, jessica with cake, frosting and pink and blue food coloring, as well as the SECRET envelope. and she delivered a very nicely decorated cake to us for dinner. it was so much fun, the anticipation was totally built up. well, that’s enough of the story. here we go.

OH, yeah. It’s definitely a BOY!!

It’s official.  We’ve bought a new house.  We are so excited!!  We closed on it today, so we will be taking the next week or so to paint and do some odd projects and well, pack up and move in!  be on the look out for an e.mail with our new address coming at you all soon.  And if you don’t get it, well just give us a shout because that probably means we’ve already forgotten!

ps.  anyone want to come over and help us… move, paint, pack, unpack, clean, build shelves, move fans, put up new fans, or maybe even donate money to our new appliance fund… just come on over!

since this was one of the last weekends that we will really not be too busy, zach decided to get to work on the bathroom.  remember this post back in October.  he got two walls done, so i’m excited for that.  it’s looking really good.  he also finished tearing out our flagstone patio in the backyard and put down seed.  so in a few weeks we should have some nice lush green grass out back and a completed bathroom downstairs!  i wonder what project he’ll start on next!  ;)
