The Silly Bears

On Wednesday Coda goes to the Church by our house, Westminster Church of the Nazarene, for what they call “Wacky Wednesday.” It is basically a bible study for kids his age and he loves it! They asked a few weeks ago if I wouldn’t mind helping out, and since he has been going for almost a year and they have never asked, I figured I should give back a little. Coda loved having his Dad as his teacher, and it was fun watching him. Here are a few pics I snapped, but the rest of the time was busy teaching!

Coda got his class photo from school today, I’m pretty sure I know who the ham in class is!  This is the first class photo he has ever had from school, the last time he had the chance to get one was at Primrose, and for some reason he wasn’t in it.  I think maybe they did after he left for he day.  Here is the list of classmates from top left across… at least who Coda told me they are: Molly, Molly, Jack, Reagan, Coda, Julia, Reagan, Reagan, and of course Mrs. Higgins.  Wow, Molly and Reagan are very popular names!  I am going to have to double check this with Michelle, because I have no idea if this is right or not.

Every Thursday morning I bring coda to the library for story time. He really enjoys it. They read a story and then do a craft.

Coda started his new school, Appletree today. Of course he was excited and when he is excited he gets silly. Here is a picture we took while waiting for the class room door to open this morning. Not real sure what he is doing, but I think it was his way of looking really smart!
