The Silly Bears

For those of you that are interested. I started a blog for my project 365. As for my photo of the day posted here, I feel like Zach took care of that with his posts about Coda going to the doctor and taking the boys to Paul Derda.

Here is a picture that Zach took of Coda at his school.  He goes to Appletree Preschool three mornings a week.  This was his first day back from Christmas break.

Here is a photo for Sunday at our church, Rock Creek Church.  We woke up late that morning and ended up going to the second service at 10:30.  But, thats ok.  We made it.

Sometimes we have a really hard convincing Coda to eat dinner.  He claims he’s too tired or not hungry.  We usually win.  Here’s a picture of him pouting at the dinner table tonight.  He didn’t pout long though, he ate all of his chicken and even his broccoli!

Coda got a new calendar to start the year.  Of course he picked Iron Man!  A favorite movie of Coda’s this year.

No, I haven’t forgotten about my project 365. I just won’t be able to post everyday!! Here is a picture from New Years Eve. We had some people over for some good food and wii. We really had a great time.

Here are some photos from when Zach took Coda and Holden geocaching.  Coda says that they are going on a pirate adventure in search of some treasure.  He likes to be called Pirate Coda and says, Pirate Daddy and Pirate Holden.  So, of course he has to take his pirate sword with him.

PROJECT 365:  Post 1

On the weekend, we tend to sleep in a bit.  :)  When Holden wakes up (usually around 6:30) I bring him into bed with us and feed him and he goes back to sleep (and so do I).  When Coda wakes up, usually around 8:00 – 8:30, he comes into our room and let’s us know that he wants breaky.  We usually try and get him to lay in bed with us.  It usually doesn’t work, but when it does, he just wants to wrestle dad.  This Sunday we got him to climb in for about 5 or 10 minutes.  But, he we’ll take what we can get.  We slept a little late this Sunday, so we missed church.  After we got ready for the day, we went to good ol’ Wal-Mart to do some grocery shopping, we usually do this on Sundays.  We also went and grabbed a bite to eat at Which Wich.  It’s a really good sandwich place.  It’s cool, because you mark on your bag what you want on your sandwich then they make it and give it to you in the bag that you wrote on.  It’s really reasonably priced too (only $5.00 a sandwich).  Anyways, after we did our chores we had a birthday party to go to.  My good friend Megan’s son turned 2.  Coda had fun playing with the other kids there.  Then we went to the mall to walk around a bit (Coda took a little nap in the stroller).  Then home for some paninis and then some Wii playing after the boys went to bed.  It was a pretty fun day!!  Here are some pictures that I took to document our day form my Project 365.  Now, I probably won’t always write this much or put this many pictures up, but I just wanted to give you some more detail so you really see what I’m doing for this project.  Enjoy!
